Shipping & Returns
Shea Essentials ships worldwide. The risk of loss and title for all merchandise ordered on this Web site pass to you when the merchandise is delivered to the shipping carrier. All orders will be shipped via USPS (United States Postal Service) Mail Service or FedEx. Shipping is based on total merchandise weight and packaging available (plus a $2.00 handling fee to cover the cost of packing materials). Most orders are processed and shipped within 2-4 business days of the receipt of payment if items are in stock. (Orders paid for via check or money order will not be shipped until the funds have cleared. This may take up to 10 business days including the amount of time it takes for us to receive the payment from you.) You will be notified as soon as possible of delays of more than 3 business days for shipping or in case of out-of-stock merchandise. You will receive an e-mail confirmation from the shipping company when your order has been shipped. This e-mail will include your tracking number.
Delivery confirmation is included on each USPS order. Delivery confirmation simply informs that the package arrived safely at its destination. This means that information regarding your shipment may not be available until after it has reached your door.
Shea Essentials will pack your items with care. (In kindness to our environment, we will use environmentally friendly packing materials and recycle shipping materials as much as possible.) We cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged after leaving our warehouse.
2012 HOLIDAY SHIPPING to receive orders by December 24, 2012 via regular shipping, orders must be placed no later than midnight Friday, December 16, 2012. Express services will become available on or after December 10, 2012. To receive orders by December 24th via express services, orders must be place by Wednesday, December 21st. Remember, express delivery services are to speed the delivery portion of the order only. It may take 2-3 business days to process your order through our warehouse. Express delivery services will incur additional fees based on shipping prices set by the shipping service.
WARM WEATHER SHIPPING Because our products are susceptible to heat, during the warm weather months (May-September), the following shipping procedures will be in place: - Priority Mail is the recommended shipping service so that items spend the least amount of time in transit. - Very Heat susceptible products (cloud, butters, shea butter balm, and royal jelly) will be shipped Monday through Thursday only. - Cold gel packs are included in every order of $5.00 or more that includes heat sensitve products - Summer handling charge of an additional $1.00 includes cold packs and other additional packing materials necessary to protect products in the warm weather
RETURN POLICY
Shea Essentials wants you to be happy with your purchase. Due to the personal nature of our products, they are not resaleable when returned and therefore ALL SALES ARE CONSIDERED FINAL. If you receive faulty, damaged or incorrect merchandise, we will work with you to find a mutually beneficial transaction outcome. If you are not 100% satisfied with your order, please login to your account, and follow the instructions for requesting a return authorization number. Shipping charges and return shipping charges cannot be refunded. No unauthorized returns will be accepted. Packages that have been refused by sender and/or returned to us without authorization or dure to incorrect/incomplete address information supplied by the purchaser will incure a $10 restocking or reshipping fee.
