Shea Essentials also accepts payment via Money Order or Personal Check. You will be able to select your payment method during the checkout process. When submitting check or money order payment, it is required by our financial institution to have your valid state ID number and a valid telephone number. WE CANNOT PROCESS YOUR PAYMENT WITHOUT THIS INFORMATION!
We apologize, but Shea Essentials does not offer credit terms at this time.

NOTE: When you provide a check as payment, you authorize us to use information from the check to make a one-time electronic fund transfer from your account or to process the payment as a check transaction. You authorize us to collect a fee of $35 (plus a bank fee if allowed by your state law) through electronic fund transfer from your account if your payment is returned unpaid. Once a check is returned unpaid, no further orders will be processed until the service fee has been received and payment by check will no longer be accepted.

SHIPPING & DELIVERY
Shea Essentials ships worldwide. The risk of loss and title for all merchandise ordered on this Web site pass to you when the merchandise is delivered to the shipping carrier. All orders will be shipped via USPS (United States Postal Service) Mail Service or FedEx. Shipping is based on total merchandise weight and packaging available (plus a $1.50 handling fee to cover the cost of packing materials). Most orders are processed and shipped within 2-4 business days of the receipt of payment if items are in stock. (Orders paid for via check or money order will not be shipped until the funds have cleared. This may take up to 10 business days including the amount of time it takes for us to receive the payment from you.) You will be notified as soon as possible of delays of more than 3 business days for shipping or in case of out-of-stock merchandise. You will receive an e-mail confirmation from the shipping company when your order has been shipped. This e-mail will include your tracking number.

Delivery confirmation is included on each USPS order. Delivery confirmation simply informs that the package arrived safely at its destination. This means that information regarding your shipment may not be available until after it has reached your door.

Shea Essentials will pack your items with care. (In kindness to our environment, we will use environmentally friendly packing materials and recycle shipping materials as much as possible.) We cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged after leaving our warehouse.

WARM WEATHER SHIPPING Because our products are susceptible to heat, during the warm weather months (May-September), the following shipping procedures will be in place: - Priority Mail is the recommended shipping service so that items spend the least amount of time in transit. - Very Heat susceptible products (cloud, lip balm, shea butter balm, and royal jelly) will be shipped Monday through Thursday only. - Cold gel packs are included in every order of $5.00 or more that includes heat sensitve products - Summer handling charge of an additional $1.50 includes cold packs and other additional packing materials necessary to protect products in the warm weather.

SALES TAX
All orders delivered in the state of Maryland will be charged MD State sales tax (6%).

RETURN POLICY
Shea Essentials wants you to be happy with your purchase. Due to the personal nature of our products, they are not resaleable when returned and therefore ALL SALES ARE CONSIDERED FINAL. If you receive faulty, damaged or incorrect merchandise, we will work with you to find a mutually beneficial transaction outcome. If you are not 100% satisfied with your order, please login to your account, and following the instructions for requesting a return authorization number. Shipping charges and return shipping charges cannot be refunded. No unauthorized returns will be accepted. *All sales are final on custom or discontinued items, NO EXCEPTIONS. We pride ourselves on the quality of our products, and Shea Essentials is committed to satisfying all of our customers. We want you to be happy with your purchase and we want you to keep coming back for more. Please remember that all of our products are handmade therefore slight variations in color/size/shape are to be expected.

In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price or discount applied incorrectly due to typographical error, error in pricing information received from our suppliers or programming error. our store shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price or discounted incorrectly. Our Store shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, Our Store shall immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

In the event of a defect in material or workmanship, Shea Essentials will replace the goods or refund the purchase price for merchandise at Shea Essentials sole discretion, provided that a written claim is received via e-mail or postal mail within 10 days of the shipping date. Shea Essentials liability shall not in any event exceed the cost of furnishing a replacement for the defective product. In no event will Shea Essentials be liable for direct, indirect, or consequential damages for damage, injury, loss of use, and/or loss of profit resulting from the use or misuse of any product purchased from Shea Essentials. Because some states do not allow the exclusion of limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, in such states liability is limited to the fullest extent permissible by law.
