The purifying qualities of our African black soap in liquid form. Creamy and not too runny, our liquid black soap has added vegetable glycerin, a humectant, to help retain the moisture in your skin. Black soap is ideal for problem skin (blemishes, acne, etc.) but is gentle enough for all skin types.

Unlike most liquid black soap formulations which are up to 95% water and 5% black soap, in Shea Essentials' liquid black soap, 50% of the total product weight is pure african black soap.  This is a difference you can see in the dark pearlesence look of our liquid black soap and a difference you can feel, more black soap equals better cleasning and purification.  We know that soap can be a bit drying and that is why we formulate our liquid black soap with castor oil, vegetable glycerin and soy lecithin, all of which are excellent sources of skin conditioning.  Each also is a humectant which draws in moisture from the atmosphere throughout the day.  You'll experience less drying with our liquid black soap formula than with black soap bars or other liquid black soaps.

Use it in the shower, as a shampoo - we even have customers who use it to wash their dishes and clothes!

Ingredients: saponified palm oil, cocoa pod and plantain leaf ash, purified water, shea butter, castor oil, vegetable glycerin, soy lecithin, guar gum (natural thickening agent), lemon and/or lime juice, Potassium Sorbate (natural plant preservative).
